Young Dragons better than Belgium

Female players in good shape before the matches with Macedonia

The U-17 women’s team of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica yesterday, where they would play two friendly matches with their peers from Northern Macedonia this week.

The head coach Ilija Lucić is satisfied with the form of our cadets at the beginning of the preparations:

“All the invited players responded. Although currently is a break is in the championship, the girls came to a gathering in a good shape. There is also a new national team player from Sweden, and I hope she will be reinforcement for the team. We will play two matches with a team from which we have a higher rating, but we have to take them seriously. I hope that we will have two friendly matches in the eighth month too, because our goal is to wait for the qualifications more readily. The group with England, Belgium and Croatia is difficult, but we want to qualify to the elite qualifying round again.”

The first match with Northern Macedonia is scheduled for 26th June at 18:00 h and not at 17:00 as originally planned.
