After the She-Dragons convincingly won the first match 3:0, winning the second match was harder, the score was minimal, thanks to Una Rankić's goal from a free kick in the 90th minute.
Coach Jelena Milović commented on the matches: “Although the second match was more uncertain than the first, I'm satisfied with what I saw. The girls were still 'heavy' from the first game, and one day of rest wasn't enough for recovery, considering the entire season they have played. However, even though it was a friendly match, it's important that we won and we part ways in good spirits after this event. I congratulate my team and the coaching staff for the good work over these few days in Trebinje.”
Milović is also pleased with the course and effects of the mini-preparations conducted in Trebinje: “I think we achieved everything we planned. We definitely saw what we need to work on, what we'll focus on in the future, and what we need to highlight to our girls in order to improve and look even better in the end.”
The coach is already looking ahead to future duties: “A summer break follows for all clubs and national teams. I hope we'll have another test in September against a stronger team that will challenge us more, so we can see where we stand and prepare the girls for the qualifying tournament at the end of October.”
