New victory of female cadets

The U-17 women’s national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated the appropriate national team of Montenegro with 1:0 in the second friendly match.

In the first half, the guests had the only chance in the 14th minute. The captain of Montenegro, Ivana Bosnić, took the ball away from Bosnia and Herzegovina defensive players and went out alone in front of the goalkeeper Iman Dumanjić, but shot next to the goal.

The advantage of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was brought by Ivona Benković in the 52nd minute with an excellent shot from about 20 meters.

Benković played to Dragana Dimitrić in the 55th minute, whose shot was bounced into the corner.

Montenegro retaliated in the 74th minute when Lumija Stanić’s shot from the edge of the penalty area was defended by Dumanjić.

The BH team had its last chance in the match in the 82nd minute. After the action on the right, Benković sent the ball to Melina Sarajlić who shot next to the goal.

The team of Ilija Lucić was also better than the Montenegrins in the first match played two days ago in Kakanj, winning 2:1.
