The chosen ones of Ilija Lucić have done one training today, and the head coach says about the program of this camp:

“This is the first gathering this year for the female cadets and we invited 30 female players. Today they played a control match, divided into two teams, which we normally did on the last day of preparation. We will do two training sessions tomorrow, one a day after tomorrow, and on the last day we will do anthropological testing.”

Lucić points out that the U-17 team expects a large number of team’s actions this year:

“In addition to the winter camp, we will play two friendly matches with the team of Serbia this month. After that we go to Finland for a development tournament, and by the end of the year we have scheduled two friendly matches with Montenegro and Hungary. We will have a lot of gatherings this year to prepare the team for qualifications.”

Ilija Lucić expects good results from this generation of cadets:

“Every year, we aim to qualify for the elite qualification round. Eight girls who performed in past qualifications are now available to us. We know most of the girls, because they went through the U-15 team. We will also test 8 new ones at this gathering. I think there are talented players in this generation and I hope we can win the elite round this season.”
