This morning, our U-17 national team travelled to Hungary, where the tournament will be held, and apart from the BH team and hosts, in the group are also the Czech Republic and Norway.
Head coach Ilija Lucić said about the preparations:
“We had certain difficulties at this gathering, because some players joined us late due to obligations to their clubs, so we were only complete on Saturday. However, we used the period spent in Zenica to work well and to be as ready as possible for the qualifications, where our goal is to stay in league A. The opponents are high-quality and we have tough matches ahead of us. We know the Hungarian national team best, because we played with them this year at the development tournament where we won 2:0. I hope that we will be successful now too and that we will achieve our goal.”
Bosnia and Herzegovina will play the first match of the tournament against Norway in Tatabanya on 19th October at 14:00 h. Matches with Hungary and the Czech Republic are scheduled for the 22nd and 25th of this month.
