The women’s U-16 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina won today at the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica Northern Macedonia with 2:0 in the first-round match of the UEFA development tournament.
The BH team had the initiative on the pitch in the first half, and after a few missed opportunities and hit the crossbar from a free kick, our national team players came to the advantage in the 33rd minute. Nina Pupić passed great on the left side and sent the ball into the five-meter area for Tasneem Dizdarević, who scored.
A similar game was seen in the second half, and in the 79th minute, Dizdarević took the ball away from her opponents and shot accurately from the edge of the penalty area for the final 2:0.
Today, the Faroe Islands and Slovenia will play in Doboj-Kakanj. The second round is scheduled for 7th April, when the matches Faroe Islands-Northern Macedonia (12:00 h, Doboj-Kakanj) and Slovenia-Bosnia and Herzegovina (16:00 h, TC Zenica) will be played.
