Victory for the end of the qualifications

We want a better result against Sweden

After yesterday’s match with Belgium, the junior women’s team of Bosnia and Herzegovina today trained in the gym of the Leonida Hotel in the Ethno Village of Stanišići.

Selma Omerović, the assistant coach within the BH women’s U-19 team’s technical staff, says:

“I must point out that we are very pleased with our players’ approach and the way we played the match. We showed character and that we can handle the strongest. We regret the cheaply received goals and we hope to be able to correct it in the next match.”

Omerović also commented on the second-round match with Sweden, which is on the program in two days:

“We are aware that a tough match is ahead. Sweden is a great team, but yesterday we showed that we could play with such teams. We hope for the good result and the continuation of the run for the European Championship. The health of the team is good. Only Alma Krajnić complained about the injury, but we believe she will be ready for the match as well.”

The striker Sofia Krajšumović announces good game against Sweden too:

“We played a good game with Belgium, we fought and we were the real team. Unfortunately, we received goals after the breaks and were not rewarded for our efforts. A match with an even tougher opponent follows, but we will fight even harder and hope for a positive outcome.”

Đula Velagić thinks similarly:

“We are sorry that we did not achieve a better result in yesterday’s match. We played very well, especially in the first half. We played bad in one part of the second half and the opponent used that. We have another tough match ahead, but we will do our best to get a better result.”
