The first match is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 against Latvia, followed by a duel with Romania on February 25.
Head coach Ivan Kvesić spoke about the team’s preparations: "Our women's national cadet team has been working hard in the lead-up to this WU-17 Euro qualifying tournament, where we'll face Latvia and Romania. The tournament is being hosted by Romania, who already beat Latvia 2:0 in the opening round. Preparations have been going well, the players are fully committed to every training session, and believe their efforts will pay off in the matches. The team is healthy, with no injury concerns, and the motivation to prove themselves is evident in every aspect of their work."
He also commented on the opponents: "In the first match against Latvia, we expect a strong performance and a positive result, because we trust in the work we've put in and the quality we possess. After that, we'll take on Romania, and we’ll give our best to achieve our goal. The weather conditions will be challenging, with low temperatures and a snowy pitch, but that won’t stop us from fighting until the final whistle and showcasing our best football. The team is ready and eager to step onto the field!"
