The Bosnia and Herzegovina women’s national under-19 team has been preparing for the B3 Group tournament of the first round of European Championship qualifiers in Stanišići since Thursday.

Coach Jelena Milović commented on the preparations: "Unfortunately, the weather hasn’t been on our side during the preparations for this tournament. Due to snow, we had to improvise a lot and could only train without interruptions on Sunday. However, this won’t discourage us; it’s just added motivation to be the best. Our focus is, of course, on the first match against Georgia, and we’ll think about other opponents later. We’re taking it step by step. The girls have met all expectations, and together we aim to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best way possible in these qualifiers."

 

National team player Una Rankić added: "It’s true the weather wasn’t ideal, but it didn’t stop us from preparing for what’s ahead. We trained in the gym and managed to get on the pitch on Sunday. We’ve analyzed our opponents as always, with Georgia being first. We’re fully focused on what lies ahead. The coaching staff worked hard to make things easier for us and provide all the information on our opponents. We’re ready mentally and physically. We want to give our best and hope to succeed because winning those first three points tomorrow is crucial. All players are present, healthy, and the team atmosphere is at the highest possible level."

 

In addition to Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s group also includes Lithuania and Wales.
