The head coach Ivo Krezo and the national team player Srđan Ivanković answered the questions of the journalists.

“I am very satisfied with the work of the players after the match with Spain. They are motivated and have a strong desire to make a good result here. The match behind us opened our eyes in a way. We showed some good and bad sides. We tried to improve those good things even more, and to correct these bad ones”, said the head coach Krezo, and he also referred to tomorrow’s opponent:

“We analyzed the Georgian team and watched their match with Azerbaijan. This is a very high-quality team. After losing 0:2 in the first round, they were able to reverse the result and come to victory. We respect them, but we also have our chances in that match. We are aware of the importance of the match and our goal is to remain undefeated and to stay in the game for the quarterfinals.”

Krezo also commented on the health condition:

“We have no injuries and all the players are at our disposal for tomorrow’s match. We get tested every day and, luckily, we are all negative for the coronavirus. From that side, we can be satisfied and we are happy that we do not have staffing problems.”

Srđan Ivanković said:

“We had time to rest and prepare for the match with Georgia. We may have had too much respect for Spain, but we know where we went wrong and those things will not happen again. Now we have an opponent who has a good and experienced team, strong in pivot positions. Our goal is to stop the pass of the ball to their pivot Lisandra, who is the most dangerous player in the Georgian team. On the other hand, with the return of our goalkeeper, Darko Milanović, we gain a new dimension in the game. We can play with the “surplus”, which should allow us more possession of the ball. I hope that we will be scattered, that we will play a quality match and get points.”

The BH national team players also completed official training session today. The Georgia-Bosnia and Herzegovina match will be played tomorrow at the Martini Plaza in Groningen, starting at 17:30 h.
