In the 3rd minute, Mirko Hrkać sent the ball in the six-meter area to Josip Bošković, who got rid of his keeper and scored for 1:0.
Sabahudin Friday took the ball of the defenders of Cyprus in the 8th minute and scored the second goal for the BH team.
Hrkać assisted again in the 10th minute, this time to captain Anel Radmilović who sent the ball from the left into the net.
In the 13th minute, Amer Džindić did well in the opponent’s six-meter area for 4:0 in favour of the futsal team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Cypriots reduced the advantage of the BH team in the 14th minute. Nikos Chadjigeorgiou took a corner from the right and sent the ball to Christos Kokkinos at 6 meters who hit the Stanislav Galić’s net.
By the end of the first half, the Cyprus team played with the goalkeeper-player in an effort to reduce the gap behind the BH team, however, in the 19th minute, Petak took take the ball in the middle of the field and sent it to the unprotected net for 5:1.
in the 3rd minute of the second half, Cyprus scored the second goal over Costas Kouloumbris after a corner kick of Savvas Omiro.
In the same minute, Ivan Ivanković used a mistake of the goalkeeper Tasos Skampylis who dropped the ball into the six-meter area, to score a goal for 6:2.
The excellent BH team action in the 26th minute was crowned by Sabahudin Petak with his third goal, assisted by Samir Gosto.
Gevara Kanjo scored the third goal for Cyprus in the 29th minute, and Omirou was precise for 4:7 two minutes later.
The final result was set by Mirko Hrkać in the 40th minute.
Switzerland and Gibraltar will meet tonight at 19:00 h.
The second round is scheduled for tomorrow, when Cyprus-Switzerland (16:00 h), Bosnia and Herzegovina-Gibraltar (19:00 h) will meet.
