Bosnia and Herzegovina’s top futsal players were visited today by Fahrudin Bajrić-Ćile, once one of the best players of the popular small-sided football club Drugari from Zenica, and former member of the Yugoslavia national team.

Even though futsal and small-sided football aren’t the same sport, it was interesting to hear his experiences, since small-sided football has always been played in this region and tournaments were extremely popular. He wished them luck in tomorrow’s match against Spain and said qualifying for the playoffs is already an enormous success for BiH futsal.

Team spirit was the hallmark of Bajrić’s team, and he noticed the same among our futsal players during their short time together. He especially pointed out that only through collective play can big matches be won.
