Coach Goran Melher said after the game: "We played a good match; however, Morocco is the 6th team in the world, and we are 54th. This is an excellent test before the qualifiers. Despite being weakened by a few injuries, our players gave their best on the court. The Moroccan team has been in training since July 1st and will play 14 matches before the World Cup. Our league is on break, so this is a great test. I'd like to thank the hosts for their excellent hospitality. Tomorrow is a rest day, and on Saturday we have another match against Morocco."
The second match between these teams will also be played in Rabat on July 27 at 18:00 CET.
