Our team needed a win by two goals in order to advance to the elite qualifying round. Nijaz Mulahmetović's players controlled the whole game, creating more scoring opportunities. The Dragonesses took 27 shots, 16 of which were on target, but the nets remained untouched.

Bosnia and Herzegovina ended the qualifiers with one win, a draw, and a loss, while Hungary, with two victories and a draw, took first place in the group and advanced to the elite round.

Coach Mulahmetović commented on the team's performance: "If we consider all the circumstances prior to the tournament, we have to be satisfied with the performances and proud of the girls who participated in this tournament. Even though we had little time for preparation, we played only one poor halftime across three games, and that probably cost us a spot among the top eight European teams. Most of our players are primarily field footballers, so this was a big experience for us.

We showed today that we have the quality, against one of the best teams in Europe. We were better, but we lacked a bit of luck. We hope that in the future things will improve and that we’ll be even more prepared for the next qualifiers."
