Alongside Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Romania, and Slovakia will fight for the remaining four spots at the final tournament. The Futsal Euro will be held from January 20 to February 7, 2026, in Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia (Riga, Kaunas, Ljubljana).
At today’s draw in Nyon, BiH was drawn against Belgium. Matches will be played between September 15 and 24, 2025, with our team playing the first leg away. The other playoff ties are: Italy vs. Kazakhstan, Hungary vs. Romania, and Georgia vs. Slovakia.
Shortly after the draw, head coach Goran Melher shared his thoughts on the play-offs: "I'm satisfied, we've avoided Italy and Kazakhstan, though we shouldn't underestimate Belgium either. They had a great qualifying campaign, even beat Serbia twice. I also think it's in our favor that we play the return leg in front of our home crowd. With the quality we objectively have, I'm optimistic about these matches. We're moving steadily toward our goal and that is to qualify for the Euro. I believe our team showed in the past qualifiers that it has the strength, unity, and the quality to achieve what we all hope for."
