With 12 points, BiH currently sits second in Group 8, while Spain leads with a perfect 15 points from five matches.
The team is meeting today at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica. Due to injuries, Darko Milanović and Miloš Radujković will miss the match, and they've been replaced by Mijo Brzica (FC Mostar SG) and Sulejman Salkić (FC Salines). During the camp, the coaching staff has planned eight training sessions at the Husejin Smajlović sports arena, the venue where BiH will face Spain on April 15 at 18:00.
Head coach Goran Melher has repeatedly stated that the goal is to reach the playoffs, however the team still believes they can pull off something special and surprise one of the world’s strongest futsal teams.
More on our chances and what to expect from the match will be shared by Melher and one of the players. Media statements are scheduled for tomorrow (April 10), before the morning training session, at 10:15, at the H. Smajlović sports arena in Zenica.
