Head coach Nijaz Mulahmetović has called up the following players for this event:
Nikolina Todorić (ŽNK Iskra), Iman Šljivo (FCU Olimpia Cluj, Romania), Nikolina Vujadin (SFK 2000 Sarajevo), Alma Kamerić (SFK 2000 Sarajevo), Zerina Piskić (SFK 2000 Sarajevo), Ajla Zukić (SFK 2000 Sarajevo), Vesna Njeguš (ŽFK Radnik Bumerang), Jovana Lana Novaković (ŽFK Radnik Bumerang), Lorena Terzić (ŽFK Radnik Bumerang), Amina Mujanović (ŽFK Radnik Bumerang), Selma Hasić (ŽFK Radnik Bumerang), Arijana Ćesko (FC Orebro, Sweden), Merima Alibašić (FC Rosengard Futsal, Sweden), and Lamija Oštraković (ŽFK Sloboda).
The coach shared his expectations for the upcoming qualifiers: "Our women's national futsal team is facing the qualifiers for the first Women's World Cup, which will take place next year in the Philippines. These qualifiers bring challenges for us, as we were drawn in a very strong and competitive group. We haven’t gathered in two years, which makes it difficult to have a clear view of the players’ form. Additionally, most of them will join the camp late due to club obligations, so we’ll have a maximum of two training sessions with the full team. Regardless, we’re confident we’ll give our best, and we secretly hope to be the top team that continues the qualifiers."
The players will gather on October 12 in Ilidža, and all matches will be played in the sports hall in East Sarajevo.
The BiH team will play its first match against Belarus on October 16 at 16:00, followed by a match against Norway on October 17 at 20:00. The Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Hungary game is scheduled for October 19 at 16:00.
