Bubamara Wins In The First Round

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s futsal champions Bubamara opened Group G of the UEFA Futsal Champions League preliminary round with a 4:1 win over Georgian team CIU tonight at the Salih Omerčević sports hall in Cazin.

Igor Osredkar scored twice (19' and 25'), while Samir Gosto netted in 26' and Edvin Bosnić in 35'. CIU’s only goal came from Janiko Giorgaia in 18'.

Bubamara’s lineup: Darko Milanović, Igor Osredkar, Bilal Jelić, Samir Gosto, Almedin Bundavica, Edin Redžepović, Edvin Čajić, Sejad Ibrišimović, Izudin Kličić, Šahbaz Isanović, Luka Perić, Faruk Brkanić, Edvin Bosnić, Emir Ramakić.

In the other group game, Ireland’s Blue Magic Dublin beat Welsh champions Cardiff 4:0. Second-round is scheduled for tomorrow in Cazin; Bubamara will face Cardiff at 21:00, while CIU vs. Blue Magic Dublin game kicks off at 17:00.

Only the tournament winner will advance to the main round.
