Our team will host England in the Husejin Smajlović arena in Zenica on December 13, followed by an away game against Spain in Cartagena on December 17.
Head coach Goran Melher has called up the following players: Darko Milanović (MNK Bubamara), Dejan Pavlović (KMF Brod), Sejad Ibrišimović (MNK Bubamara), Davor Arnautović (FC Mostar SG), Adnan Kalajdžić (FC Mostar SG), Miloš Radujković (KMF Loznica, Serbia), Srđan Ivanković (PKMF Torpedo, Russia), Marijo Aladžić (FC Mostar SG), Josip Sesar (HMNK Vrgorac, Croatia), Bilal Jelić (FC Mostar SG), Josip Bošković (HMNK Vrgorac, Croatia), Amer Delić (MNK Sloga Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje), Amir Baručija (FC Mostar SG), Samir Gosto (MNK Bubamara), Edvin Bosnić (MNK Bubamara), Senad Poračanin (HMNK Vrgorac, Croatia), Muanis Duvnjak (GFC Sarajevo), and Faruk Brkanić (GFC Sarajevo).
Melher commented: “We’ve called up 18 players for these two matches, all of whom have been tested through practice games and camps. The players are healthy and ready, and I hope it stays that way. Our main focus is the first match against England, and we’re fully preparing for it. We’ll think about Spain after that, as the goal is to start the qualifiers with a victory over England.”
The team will come together at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica. Before the England match, they’ll hold six training sessions at the Husejin Smajlović sports arena.
