In the first five minutes, both teams had one more serious attempt. Mario Aladžić’s shot was stopped by goalkeeper Zviad Kupatadze, while the Georgians stroke back through Chaguinha, but Darko Milanović was also sure.
The BH team took the lead in the 7th minute. Blago Gašpar passed excellently on the left side and sent the ball to the opposite goalpost for Nermin Kahvedžić, who was accurate for 1:0.
Josip Bošković had a great opportunity in the 10th minute, when he intercepted a Georgian pass and headed alone towards the opponent’s goal, but Kupatadze intervened well. Josip Sesar was neither luckier in the 12th minute.
By the end of the first half, both teams had several attempts from a distance, but goalkeepers Darko Milanović and Zviad Kupatadze were up to the task and the result did not change.
Georgia equalized in the 25th minute. Thales used one running out of goalkeeper Milanović and sent the ball into the net from his own half.
Shortly after receiving the goal, Bilal Jelić and Davor Arnautović did not use good opportunities for our national team.
The Georgians turned the score around in the 28th minute, and the goal was scored by Petry Branco.
In the 29th minute, Marijo Aladžić tried diagonally from the left, but Kupatadze bounced the ball into the corner.
Until the end of the match, the BH team tried to equalize, but our national team players did not use their opportunities.
In the third round on 29th January, Bosnia and Herzegovina will play with Azerbaijan in Amsterdam.
