Croatia came to advantage in the 8th minute. Maro Đuraš sent the ball to the right for Luka Suton, who sent the ball from ten yards under the crossbar of Stanislav Galić’s goal.
The captain of the futsal team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Anel Radmilović, received the second yellow card for a foul in the 18th minute.
Because of that exclusion, the home team had one player more in the field in the next two minutes, which they used to double their advantage. After a pass of Mate Horvat in the 18th minute, Franko Jelovčić hit the bottom right corner of the BH goal from about 8 meters for 2:0.
Luka Suton scored two goals in the 23rd minute. He was first assisted by Tihomir Novak from the corner and then Jelovčić for the final 4:0.
In the second match of the group, Russia beat Sweden 7:3.
The second round is scheduled for tomorrow, when Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Russia (17:00 h) and Croatia vs. Sweden (20:00 h) will be played.
