Opponents of the BH team will be Armenia and the Czech Republic, and the assistant coach in our “A” futsal national team, Nijaz Mulahmetović, says before the first match:
“We are entering the final stage of preparations for the first match with Armenia. The September term is always inconvenient, because the championship hasn’t started in our country yet and some clubs haven’t started their preparations yet. On the other hand, several players from abroad already have games behind them, so they came to the gathering in different shapes. It was not easy to balance that, but I believe we succeeded and will be ready for the match on Saturday. The first match is always important, because it can largely determine the further course of the qualifications.”
The pivot of our national team and one of the most experienced national team players, Nermin Kahvedžić, expects victory against Armenia:
“We came to the preparations for the upcoming matches very motivated. On Saturday in Zenica, we will host the national team of Armenia and we are not running away from the role of favourites. Our team has quality and after the European Championship, we want to reach the World Championship as well. It will not be easy, but we will do our best to show on the pitch that we can make another success. I believe that with the support of our fans we will win three points on Saturday.”
The match with Armenia is scheduled for 17th September at 18:00 h at the “Husejin Smajlović” City Arena in Zenica.
