The BiH team came out attacking from the first minute, aiming to overturn the 2:7 aggregate from the first game, but despite creating numerous chances, the score remained unchanged after the opening 20 minutes.
In the second half, captain Srđan Ivanković stepped into the role of flying goalkeeper to increase pressure on the Belgian side, but the visitors capitalized on that setup and scored. The goal came from Marvin Ghislandi in the 28'.
The score didn’t change until the final whistle, and Belgium secured qualification for the major tournament.
