This is their first national team activity with the new junior futsal team coaching staff, led by head coach Mirko Čampara and assistants Edin Habibija and Antonio Vidović. Nijaz Mulahmetović, head coach of the women’s national futsal team, is also supporting Čampara and his team during these preparations to ensure the new generation of futsal players is well-prepared for upcoming challenges in the national team.
The camp is proceeding as planned, with the players completing four training sessions and one practice game so far. The team will hold two more training sessions, one today and one tomorrow. In collaboration with the kinesiology department of the Faculty of Science, Mathematics, and Education in Mostar, to whom we extend our gratitude, the players underwent anthropological tests measuring agility, speed, and endurance.
The coaching staff voiced their satisfaction with the players’ effort during the camp, which will give them a clearer picture of who can be relied upon in the future. Our junior team will face its first qualifiers in March next year, competing against Croatia, Turkey, and the winner of Group B in the preliminary round.
