Young Dragons better than Belgium

Futsal juniors start qualifying

The U-19 futsal team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play its first match of the main qualifying round for the European U-19 Futsal Championship versus Serbia in Mostar tomorrow.

The head coach Ivo Krezo points out that the team worked well during the preparation period:

“We did good preparations. We have no problems with injuries. The guys are ready and in the good mood we are waiting for the start of the tournament. I am pleased with the way in which players have entered into commitments at this gathering.”

Krezo says on tomorrow’s match with Serbia:

“There is a historical, first official match of the junior futsal team of BH, so we can guarantee that we will do our best to achieve a favourable result. We have planned to win as many points as possible on the tournament, in order to improve our ranking that would enable easier opponents for the next generations.”

The head coach also commented on the group:

“It will be difficult; the group is demanding. We watched the matches of our opponents and Portugal is certainly the favourite for the first place. What we can promise is that we will do our best in each match and that the maximum engagement will not be missed.”

The tournament of the group 3 of the main qualifying round for the Futsal EURO will be played at the USRC “Midhat Hujdur-Hujka” in Mostar. Tomorrow at 17:00 h, the match between BH and Serbia is scheduled, while at 20:00 h, the futsal teams of Portugal and Moldova will run onto the parquet.
