Two games against Azerbaijan will offer coach Goran Melher a great chance to prepare for the upcoming European Championship qualifiers set for 2026 in Latvia and Lithuania.

BiH is in Group 8, facing England, Switzerland, and Spain. Our team will start the qualifiers with a match against England on December 13, 2024. The ten group winners will qualify directly, while the eight best runners-up will compete in additional qualifiers for the four remaining spots at the final tournament, along with hosts Latvia and Lithuania.

During preparations in Zenica, the coaching staff has scheduled two training sessions, along with two practice matches scheduled for Monday, November 4, and Tuesday, November 5, at 19:00 in the Husejin Smajlović sports arena in Zenica. All 18 players on coach Melher's list will be available for the Azerbaijan games.
