Ivo Krezo’s players did a training session this morning, and they will do two more before the match. In the next match, Davor Arnautović will not be in the line-up due to yellow cards.
The assistant coach in the BH futsal national team, Nijaz Mulahmetović, said:
“The match with Armenia is behind us, where we remain sorry for the result, given that we created a large number of opportunities and situations where we could have reacted better. The statistics were again on our side, but, unfortunately, we did not achieve a positive result. All of that put us in a situation where we now have to beat the Czech Republic by at least two goals difference.”
Mulahmetović also added:
“Despite the bad results in these qualifications, we still depend on ourselves and have a chance to make it to the play-off for the elite qualifying round. The players are working well, there is a great atmosphere in training sessions and I believe we have a chance against the Czech Republic. It will certainly not be easy, because the opponent is of high quality, but we are playing at home and I hope we will achieve the desired result.”
National team player Blago Gašpar thinks similarly:
“In Armenia, we played a quality match, but we were left without points. We had many chances and deserved a better result. We turn to the new match and I believe we can improve things against the Czech Republic and qualify for the play-offs. As an opponent, we will have an experienced team with good players and it will not be easy for us. However, I believe that we will win by two goals difference, because we are playing on our pitch. We have quality and I hope we will achieve our goal.”
The match Bosnia and Herzegovina-Czech Republic is scheduled for 8th March at 18:00 h at the Sports Hall in East Sarajevo.
