Our best futsal players have already done one training session, and the head coach Ivo Krezo says about the upcoming obligations of the national team:

“We gathered at the Hills Hotel, where we have excellent working conditions. We will train twice a day until Friday. I would like the players to be bypassed by injuries and coronavirus, and to be ready for the European Championship. We qualified for the big competition for the first time and that is a historic result for us. We are going there with the goal of playing every match the best we can, to fight for every goal and I hope that we will achieve a good result and a qualification for the quarterfinals.”

Krezo also commented on the opponents at the EURO:

“We have been preparing for what awaits us in the Netherlands for a long time and we have followed the games of our opponents in the group. Spain is the favourite of the EURO and they play top futsal with a lot of pressing. They played two great matches against Portugal, which is the current European champion, and they achieved two victories, which speaks a lot about them. Georgia is like us at the EURO for the first time and they have a lot of good players from Brazil. Azerbaijan also has a lot of naturalized players, so difficult matches await us.”
