The visitors took an early lead in the 7th minute through Nikola Polić, which remained the only goal of the first half. BiH equalized in the 25th minute following a well-executed action: Ammar Hodžić broke through the middle and found Danijel Prskalo on the left, who set up Kenan Hrštić for 1:1. Serbia regained the lead in the 28th minute, with Polić scoring his second goal.
Our team leveled the score once again in the 32nd minute, when Prskalo struck from a tight angle on the left. The decisive goal came in the 34th minute after a brilliant play: Ognjen Marković cleverly backheeled the ball to Prskalo, who netted his second goal for a 3:2 win.
After the game, head coach Mirko Čampara stated: "First of all, I’d like to thank FFBiH for organizing this two-match series, which means a lot to us ahead of the upcoming qualifiers in Omiš. These matches helped us evaluate where we stand and how prepared we are. Given that this team was previously managed by the senior futsal staff, and that I'm now the first U-19 coach under the new structure, I’m delighted with our first win. After our selection camp in December, these were our first real matches, and I’m more than pleased with what the boys showed."
BiH lineup: Mijo Brzica, Emir Mustafić, Ivan Zelenika, Bekir Arnaut, Lazar Radulović, Bakir Merdić, Josip Šarac, Kenan Hrštić, Kenan Azabagić, Danijel Prskalo, Ahmed Brkanović, Ammar Hodžić, Ernad Mujanović, Ognjen Marković.
These teams played another match last night, where Serbia won 6:5.
