Although the activities for this national team were originally planned for last year, due to the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus, the futsal female players will have their first national team action next month when they will play two friendly matches with Slovenia in Maribor.
Matches are scheduled for 5th and 6th June at 17:00 h.
The head coach Nijaz Mulahmetović sent invitations to the following players for these matches:
Edna Mašić (SV 09 Hofheim, Germany), Nikolina Vujadin (Lokomotiva), Zerina Piskić (Emina), Branka Bagarić (Široki Brijeg), Merima Alibašić (Hittarps IK, Sweden), Nikolina Milović (Crvena Zvezda, Serbia), Maja Ivković (Meteora Zagreb, Croatia), Amina Mujanović (Fortuna), Alisa Spahić (SFK 2000 Sarajevo), Selma Mešanović (Lokomotiva), Arijana Češko (Örebro SK, Sweden), Nikolina Todorić (Lokomotiva), Slavica Glavota (Široki Brijeg), Merima Gradinović (Emina), Jovana Vasić (Lokomotiva), Iman Šljivo (SFK 2000 Sarajevo).
In addition to Nijaz Mulahmetović, the technical staff of the women’s futsal national team consists of coaches Vesna Njeguš and Amira Spahić, and goalkeeper coach Tomislav Bašić.
The players will gather in Bihać on 31st May, and travel to Maribor on 4th June.
The BH women’s futsal national team will have the Netherlands, Armenia and Moldova for its opponents in Group B in the qualifying preliminary round for the European Championship.
