Head coach Ivo Krezo addressed the media after the match:

“I congratulate my players on their victory and the Cyprus team for fair and correct game. I hope that we will continue to play at this level in the next two matches, to show what we know and to win first place in the group. We may have relaxed a bit in the second half, but we didn’t jeopardise the win. We have to keep a rhythm all 40 minutes in the coming matches.”

Captain Anel Radmilović stated:

“I am very pleased that our new players, these young guys and our hopes, have shown that they are rightly invited to the national team and that they deserve to be here. We expected to win, because we shouldn’t even play at this stage of qualification according to our quality. However, we will use these matches to better play, in reason of what awaits us later. Tonight, we received goals a little naïve, but we should learn from mistakes and we will correct them in future matches.”

The BH futsal team will meet with Gibraltar tomorrow at 19:00 h at the Husejin Smajlović Arena in Zenica.
