"We’ve been working in Zenica for a while now and everything’s going perfectly. The atmosphere in the team is excellent, the training sessions are intense, and from day one the work’s been very serious. I’m satisfied and happy to have received the A team call-up – it’s every player’s dream come true. I’m proud to wear the national team jersey and I’ll give my best to justify the trust placed in me, both through my effort on the court and my conduct off it," said Krezo.
He emphasized that the presence of older, established national team players means a lot: "There are players here with much more experience, from whom I can learn a lot, who’ve long built their names in the futsal world. Being called up to be with them is a huge experience for me and will surely help me grow. This is a quality team facing a Euro playoff against Belgium. I think they’re an opponent that suits us, and we can qualify for a major tournament."
This summer Krezo joined Zagreb’s Dinamo, along with his national team colleague Adnan Kalajdžić: "Our club preparations start soon, so right after the national team I’m jumping into a new work cycle. Futsal demands constant readiness and good form, so I’ll work to maintain a high level of play. My national team teammate Adnan Kalajdžić also joined Dinamo, which is an extra motivation. I believe we’ll achieve good results together."
