The matches are scheduled for January 16 at 18:00 at Pavilhão Leões Porto Salvo and January 18 at 18:00 at FPF Arena.
Head coach Goran Melher has called up the following players for this event: Darko Milanović (Bubamara), Sejad Ibrišimović (Bubamara), Miloš Todorić (Pula, Croatia), Emir Mustafić (Željezničar), Anes Demirović (Željezničar), Ahmed Kadić (Akademac), Srđan Ivanković (Mostar SG), Matej Krezo (Dinamo, Croatia), Almedin Bundavica (Bubamara), Samir Gosto (Bubamara), Dejan Živković (Borac), Amer Delić (Sloga Gornji Vakuf), Amir Baručija (Mostar SG), Ajdin Drina (GFC Sarajevo).
On the upcoming matches, Melher said: "We’re going to Lisbon with a fairly young team. We want to test as many young players as possible, with the goal of building a selection for the next qualifying cycle. Ahead of us are games against an extremely strong Portugal side, the reigning European champions and winners of the last World Cup, which is the best possible test for our team. These matches are invaluable because they give the team a chance to come together further, gain important international experience, and raise the level of play. The result isn’t the priority, it’s about team development and preparation for the challenges awaiting us later this year."
The players will gather on January 12 in Zenica and travel to Lisbon three days later.
