Only a victory will secure second place in the group, giving the team a chance to reach Euro 2026 via the playoffs. The tournament is set to be held in Kaunas (Lithuania) and Riga (Latvia).
The morning training session was physically demanding, while tonight’s will focus more on tactical drills and fine-tuning specific actions.
The BiH goal remained untouched in the last game, and goalkeeper Darko Milanović hopes it’ll stay that way against England: "We go into every match aiming to keep a clean sheet, which depends on how we set up and how the match unfolds. Of course, if we do concede, it’s not the end of the world - we’re here to achieve our goal and take all three points. England isn’t a team we can underestimate, as they showed in Zenica. They’re strong and physically well-prepared, so we need to stay fully focused. We’re favorites here too, but that means nothing unless we prove it on the court. We know what this match brings - if we win, we go to the playoffs, so we’ll approach it very seriously."
The team has been together for several days, training at a high intensity. Milanović explains how that affects them: "It’s definitely getting a bit tiring - we’ve been training for seven days now. However, the atmosphere in the locker room is fantastic, and with plenty of laughs and jokes, time goes by quickly. Team spirit is everything, and ours is really great. It’s a pleasure sharing a locker room with these guys, and I believe we’ll crown it all with a strong performance and a win."
