On the eve of tomorrow’s match, the coach of the home team, Ivan Božović, stated:
“We are trying to regenerate the team physically, but also mentally after demanding matches in the championship. We will not be able to count on Marin Sesar in the finals, who has already played for Brotnjo in the Cup. Due to injuries, Anel Radmilović and Marijo Aladžić are in question, so we will know tomorrow whether they will run on the floor. Regardless of all that, we are not giving up on our goal, which is a double crown. We will not be deceived by the fact that Zrinjski is relegated this season. It’s a quality team, and city derbies are never easy. We hope to play another quality match and try to make a difference that would allow us a more relaxed entry into the rematch.”
Zrinjski captain Ivan Drežnjak expects that he and his teammates will give their best:
“We are playing with the state champion and the team that is aiming for the double crown. We finished the championship earlier, so we may not be in the best competitive form at the moment. This year, we have already made a notable result in the Cup, and it is no small thing to qualify for the finals. Mostar SG is certainly the favourite in this two-match final, but we will give our maximum and not give up in advance. I believe that we are all ready and we will do our best to play the best match possible.”
Tomorrow’s match will be refereed by Željko Dragojević from Banja Luka, Goran Ilić from Doboj and Goran Ilinčić from Prijedor. The referee observer is Mujo Tutun from Sarajevo, and the match delegate is Damir Suton from Mostar.
