The first half ended without goals, although both teams had several opportunities. Dejan Trifković tried to hit the opponent’s goal twice, and Amer Džindić and Tarik Lukšija once, but without success. On the other hand, more serious attempts of the Moldovan futsal team were stopped by the goalkeeper Edo Demirović.
Two goals have been scored already in the 1st minute of the second half. First in the 34th second, Tarik Džemić passed three Moldavian players and sent the ball into the opponent’s net from 7 meter. Only 20 seconds later, Iulian Cojocar, from with more than ten meters on the right side, hit the opposite upper corner of the BH goal for 1:1.
A new advantage to the BH team was bought by Džindić in the 32nd minute by an earthy shot from about ten meters. By the end of the match, the result did not change, and the BH U-19 futsal team made the first victory in one official match.
In the second group match, Portugal beat Serbia 3:1. Two goals for the winning team were scored by Celio Coque (25th and 35th minute), and one by Tomas Reis (37th minute). The only goal for Serbia was scored by Predrag Radak in the 11th minute.
In the ranking table, after two rounds, Portugal has 6 points, Bosnia and Herzegovina 4, Serbia 1, and Moldova 0.
The last, third round, is scheduled for 30th March at the USRC “Midhat Hujdur-Hujka”, when Moldova-Serbia (17:00 h) and Portugal-Bosnia and Herzegovina (20:00 h) will play.
