“We played a good game against Cyprus and we can say that we did our job in the best way. All the players were at a high level, and I’m glad I played the match well and scored three goals. I believe that we will continue to be so convincing in the continuation of the tournament”, says Petak, who is optimistic about the next matches:

“In every match we go for the win and that is how we will stand against Gibraltar tonight. I expect a win and I have no doubt that we will be the first in this qualifying round. Later on, tough opponents will be waiting for us, but this team has the quality and with luck we can think about qualification for the EURO.”

Sabahudin Petak does not hide his satisfaction with playing for the national team:

“So far, I have only played in friendly matches as well as some of the younger players, but now we have already played what could be seen yesterday against Cyprus. Of course, there are other things we can improve. Each gathering is a new experience for us, and we have something to learn from the more experienced players who have been part of the futsal national team for many years.”
