The new technical staff of the futsal team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, composed of the head coach Ivo Krezo and assistant coaches Nijaz Mulahmetović, Ivan Stankovic and Goran Melher, did their first team action in Zenica.
The head coach Krezo is satisfied with the work done over the past three days:
“My technical staff and I are more than satisfied with the work done at this gathering. The goal was to get to know the players and to present our way of working. At this gathering, there were no players from Mostar Stari Grad, so there will be more futsal players in the upcoming period in a competition for the “A” team. The guys got instructions on how to work in the upcoming period. Our goal is to qualify for the next Futsal World Cup and I hope that we will be ready for this venture.”
Ivo Krezo believes that the team is promising and that, with a little luck, they could achieve a qualification to the 2020 Futsal World Cup:
“It all depends on who we get in the group. These are young and promising guys who have a feeling for futsal. We'll be getting ready; we will work hard and hope for the best. With a favourable draw, I believe we will achieve our planned goals.”
Our team members held 4 training sessions at this gathering at the Arena Zenica.
