The media representatives were addressed by the head coach Ivo Krezo and the national team player Nermin Kahvedžić.

Head coach Krezo said, among other things:

“There is disappointment among the players after the match with Georgia, because they are aware that they missed a great opportunity to make a good result. Yesterday we did the regeneration training session and we are preparing the team for tomorrow’s match. I think we deserved at least one point against Georgia, but we did not succeed and we will do everything to be ready for Azerbaijan.”

Krezo also commented on tomorrow’s opponent:

“We watched their matches at this championship and it is certain that this is a great national team. It is no coincidence that they are ranked among the top 10 national teams in Europe. It is certain that they will also want to improve their impression and achieve victory tomorrow. I hope that we will be able to play a good match and win the first points at the European Championship.”

Nermin Kahvedžić stated:

“We are all sad, because we did not achieve a better result against Georgia. We did not deserve to lose, we played very well and we had the opportunity to solve the match. The opponent punished us and later we tried to return with a result, but we were not aggressive enough. Now we have a match against a great team that dominated against Spain and deserved to win. We will do our best to win three points against Azerbaijan.”

After the press conference, the BH national team players did the training session.

The match with Azerbaijan is scheduled for tomorrow at 17:30 pm at the Ziggo Dome.
