In four matches, the BH futsal players defeated Greece, played draw with Kuwait and Slovenia, while they were defeated by Hungary in the first round.
The head coach Ivo Krezo says that the players showed quality:
“We can be satisfied with what the team showed in Poreč, especially because this selected team has not played matches for a long time. Players who were previously in the team, confirmed their quality, but we also tried some new ones that can definitely be counted.”
Krezo commented on the matches too:
“Against Hungary we played equally in the first half, but in the second period we quickly received two goals. We tried to return with the goalkeeper-player, but we did not succeed and the opponent deserved to win. In the second round, we played tie versus Kuwait, even though we dominated the whole match. Against Greece, we played the best game and deservedly won, and the players showed quality against Slovenia when, we managed to compensate a backlog of two goals.”
The head coach points out that the technical staff of the BH futsal national team will check out more futsal players before the official matches:
“In the upcoming period, we will try to make as wider player base as possible, and we will try to check some more players too. A modern futsal cannot be played with 5-6 players and we have to have them as many as possible. We will also look for solutions among younger futsal players, because we need also another quality pivot.”
