The head coach Ivo Krezo believes that the team can reach the play-off for the elite round:
“In the match with Armenia, we did not fulfil our goal of winning points. We had more than the game in that match and I think we deserved at least a point. However, the better does not always win. We are focused on the match with the Czech Republic. It is clear to us what kind of situation we are in. We had some problems with injuries, but they are all a minor nature and I hope that everyone will be ready for tomorrow’s match. We need a win by two goals surplus and there are no excuses. We have to provide more than the maximum and achieve a victory that would take us to the play-off for the elite qualifying round.”
Captain Srđan Ivanković is also optimistic about tomorrow’s match:
“Even though we entered the last match ready, some mistakes that have been following us for a long time decided that we lost the match despite our better performance. We had a lot of great chances, but, in the end, the result is important and we have one more match left. We didn’t lose our chances; we have to win by two goals difference. Although the Czech Republic is a great team, we can achieve that goal. Everyone in the national team believes in that and tomorrow we will do everything in our power to stay in the game for qualifying for the World Cup.”
The match Bosnia and Herzegovina-Czech Republic is scheduled for tomorrow at 18:00 h in the Sports Hall in East Sarajevo, with a live broadcast on the official BH FF YouTube channel. Entrance to the hall is free.
