The aim of these activities was to promote grassroots football, inclusion, and equal opportunities for everyone who wants to play this game.
On September 26, a under-13 girls’ festival was held in Teslić, while on September 29, an event took place in Posušje at SRC Adeo, where girls aged 5 to 13 took part in various football activities.
A packed football Tuesday, September 30, featured two events - Playmakers activities for girls were held at FK Krajina stadium in Cazin, while in Prijedor a festival was organized for both girls and boys, once again highlighting the importance of playing and socializing together through sport.
Today in Fojnica, an event dedicated to inclusive football was held, promoting equality and the participation of children with different abilities in football activities.
Bojan Aćimović, FFBiH grassroots manager, said: "UEFA Grassroots Week is a chance to bring football closer to everyone, regardless of age, gender or ability. These events showed how much kids enjoy playing and spending time together, but also how important it is to invest in grassroots football. Our goal is to create an environment where every child feels welcome on the pitch."
FFBiH thanks the hosts of these events - FK Mineral Banja Vrućica (Teslić), NK Inter Posušje, FK Krajina Cazin, FK United Prijedor and FK Fojnica - for providing excellent conditions in organizing these activities.
Through these events, FFBiH reaffirms its commitment to developing grassroots football, promoting the sport among the youngest, and strengthening the values football carries - friendship, team spirit and respect.
As part of UEFA Grassroots Week, upcoming events are planned in Gradiška, East Sarajevo, Tuzla, Trebinje and Banja Luka.
