The General Secretary of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation (BHFF), Adnan Džemidžić, and the National Stadium Project Manager, Nihad Hodžić, met today in Zenica with the Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Nezir Pivić, to discuss the continuation of the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Stadium construction project in Zenica.
During the meeting, it was confirmed that activities on this strategic project are progressing according to schedule. It was highlighted that the conceptual design of the National Stadium has been completed and that a request for the issuance of an urban planning permit has been submitted to the City of Zenica. Once the permit is obtained, the preparation of the main design and detailed construction design will follow.
The participants also discussed the next steps related to resolving property, legal, and administrative matters, including the letter of intent submitted to the City of Zenica regarding the transfer of stadium management rights from the City of Zenica to the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation, as well as the initiative to include the National Stadium construction project in the Zenica-Doboj Canton Development Strategy.
Representatives of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation thanked the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton for its continued support and emphasized that strong cooperation between all levels of government and relevant institutions is essential for the successful implementation of this important project.
