The spirit of the championship is already felt on the streets of the host cities, and the BH FF is doing everything to include other cities and local communities in the activities and thus enable them to be part of one of the biggest competitions in this area. The popularization and massification of football among the younger female population are one of the strategic commitments of the BH FF in the coming period.
In addition to the tournament, the BH FF, in cooperation with its partners, plans to organize thematic fan zones and numerous other activities and content in all cities where European Championship matches will be played.
The first fan zone will be opened in Sarajevo across the City Hall on Friday, 15th April, from 16 to 18 hours, and then at the same time on Friday, 22nd April, on the plateau in front of the BBI Centre and on 29th April on Wilson’s Promenade.
Visitors will be able to enjoy numerous content such as various ball games on the football pitch, and mini-workshops, and the participants will be given appropriate prizes and T-shirts for the European Championship.
You will be informed about the dates of the fan zones in other cities in a timely manner.
The European Championship for Female Cadets will be played in Sarajevo, Mostar, Zenica, and Široki Brijeg from 3rd to 15th May. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands will play in Group A, and France, Spain, Finland, and Norway in Group B.
A faithful companion of all events and the most ardent fan of our national team will be “Zmajica” (“She-Dragon”), the official mascot of the women’s U-17 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
