Bosnia and Herzegovina played a great first half. The head coach Ilija Lucić set somewhat more defensive tactics compared to previous matches. The She-Dragons played very disciplined, responsibly and selflessly in defence and did not allow the Germans to reach the goal. Germany attacked during all 45 minutes, hit the frame of the goal on three occasions, and the BH goalkeeper Nejra Hejub stood out several times with excellent interventions.
The She-Dragon’s resistance was crushed in the 54th minute. The player who came in from the bench at half time, Mara Alber, after a solo break on the left managed to send the ball into the net next to the helpless Hejub in this situation. Mara Alber scored the second goal two minutes before the end of the match, when she crossed the “wall” from a free kick from 22-23 meters and hit the upper right corner of the goal of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
