Striker Tasneem Dizdarević describes what it looks like to play for the national team at the European Championship:
“First of all, it was an incredible feeling to play in a big stadium in front of our fans. Running on the pitch in a big competition in the national team jersey was an amazing experience. Performing in the capital under the floodlights, in a national jersey with my name on my back and in front of all those fans is something really special. Regardless of the result that disappointed us, for all of us, this is still a great and incredible experience.”
Dizdarević says about yesterday’s opponent:
“The Netherlands is a really great team and their victory is deserved. Still, I have a feeling we could and should have done better, but it’s easy to say after the match. They had more experience and are more physically fit, but we should have achieved a better result.”
The talented national team player expects better games in the continuation of the tournament:
“I think we can do more in the next match. From what I could see, it seems to me that Denmark is not as good as the Netherlands. So, I believe that the result in the next match will be more favourable for us. We also showed that we had quality in the first 20 minutes against the Netherlands, but after the received goal we played worse, which had not to happen to us. We have to be at the highest level at the European Championship for all 90 minutes.”
The Bosnia and Herzegovina-Denmark match is scheduled for 6th May 6 14:00 h at the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica.
