U-17 national team players about her appearance at the European Championship

The female cadet national team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina did one training session in Vogošća today. Ilija Lucić’s team is not satisfied with the results so far, but they expect to improve their impression in the last round.

Ahead of the match with Germany, Tamara Blagojević says:

“It is clear that we cannot be satisfied with the results, there is a visible difference in quality between us and big national teams that have more experience than us in such competitions. We are working hard and we will do everything to prepare as well as possible for the last match. We have already met Germany in the qualifiers and that experience can be useful in preparing for the match with them. They are among the best European teams and we will do our best to offer them the strongest possible resistance.”

Ajla Građan stated:

“This competition is a new experience for us and we can certainly learn a lot from all this. The atmosphere in the team is great. We stick to each other both when we win and when we lose. We carry the coat of arms of our country with great pride. We are sorry for the results and we will do our best to improve the impression in the end.”

Ivona Radošević thinks similarly:

“Yesterday we played a tough match and today we are working on recovery. Our goal is to better prepare for the next match against another top opponent. It is a great honour for all of us to have the opportunity to play in the European Championship, and it will remain a memory for a lifetime. Of course, we wished for better results, but the opponents were better than us. We have to learn from this and use the matches with the best teams to learn something new and progress.”

Helena Gavrilović knows the following opponent well:

“Two difficult matches are behind us, and now another one follows with perhaps the best team. I know some of the players, because I play in Germany as well. We have information about them that can help us. I expect to give our best and I hope that this time we will be rewarded with a better result.”

The Germany-Bosnia and Herzegovina match is scheduled for 9th May 9 2:00 h at the Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo.
