“We are very excited about participating in the European Championship. The group will be very challenging for us. In addition to the hosts, there are two good national teams of Germany and the Netherlands. It will be three high-level matches, but we could not expect anything less from the European Championship. However, our ambitions are high and we will try to reach the finals and get involved in the fight for medals.”
LAURA HALKD: WE WANT TO GET INVOLVED IN THE FIGHT FOR MEDALS
The seven-time European champions Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark will play in group “A” of the European Championship for female cadets, in addition to our national team. Matches in this group will be played in Sarajevo and Zenica. We talked to Laura Halkd, team manager of Denmark and asked her if they were satisfied with their opponents and what their ambitions were in this competition.
