Zrinjski drew 2:2 with Slovan in Mostar tonight, in the return leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. Since Slovan won the first leg 4:0 in Bratislava seven days ago, the Slovakian club advanced to the next round of the competition.
As part of the UEFA Grassroots Charter implementation and four-year development plan, the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued holding meetings with representatives of regional, cantonal and county associations across the Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Under head coach Goran Melher, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national futsal team proved during the Euro qualifiers that it has the quality and strength to match some of Europe’s best at times. Against weaker opponents, the team showed dominance and exceptional efficiency. In matches against strong rivals like Spain, Melher’s men at times played tight and organized defense, but lacked initiative and effectiveness in attack.
The head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national "A" football team has been admitted to the University Clinical Hospital in Mostar due to abdominal issues.
