In the Camp, he is mostly in the company of colleagues from the young national team, and he says about the invitation for the senior national team:
“I am honoured and pleased to be here, because it is every player’s dream to play one day for his country’s national team. I got the opportunity and I will try to justify it.”
How much does the fact, that you bear a surname that is valued in football circles, help you in your career?
“It helps me in certain situations, but in other ones not. I don’t pay much attention to it; I want to build my own path and career. It is normal to have the support of my father and family, but if I am not ready to work hard and train, then nothing will help me to achieve the career I want.”
The first day of preparations has passed – what are your impressions?
“It’s an amazing feeling to be with all these top players that I’ve only watched so far and here I have the opportunity to train and be in company with them. I feel really nice, everyone is relaxed in a way and the atmosphere is good. Of course, it is much easier for me to fit in, because I also have a colleague from the young national team here.”
Do you expect to get a chance to play in one of the next matches?
“I would certainly be overjoyed and I would certainly have some positive anxiety at the beginning. However, it is up to me to do my best and the opportunity will come, if not now, then in the future for sure.”
